My Story

Hi, I’m Dakota—the founder of Dakota’s Den.

My journey into esthetics started with a leap of faith. I knew I wanted more than just a job—I wanted a career where I could make people feel confident, comfortable, and cared for.

I enrolled at Elaine Sterling Institute and dedicated myself to mastering the art of skincare and full-body waxing. Through long days, over 1,000 hours of hands-on training, and countless opportunities to learn, I discovered that this wasn’t just something I enjoyed—it was my calling.

As a masculine-presenting esthetician, I also realized there was room in the beauty industry for someone who looked and connected with clients differently. That inspired me to create a space where everyone feels welcome, respected, and comfortable no matter who they are.

Dakota’s Den was built on passion, education, and genuine care. Every appointment is more than just a service—it’s an opportunity to help someone feel more confident in their own skin.
